The Shimano Aero X5A Precision Feeder 9’-11’ is an adjustable feeder rod from the top-of-the-range Aero X series, designed for maximum precision and versatility. Thanks to its telescopic butt section, the rod can be set to 2.74 or 3.35 metres, making it ideal for both short and medium distances. The blank is made from High Modulus Carbon, reinforced with HPC (High Pressure Carbon) and Nanosheet technology for an optimal combination of strength, sensitivity and balance.
The butt section features Diaflash reinforcement for extra casting control and stability when playing fish. The rod is equipped with Seaguide XOG/XQHG anti-tangle guides for smooth line control and a Fuji VSS reel seat for a stable reel fit. The Rubber Cork and EVA handle provides a comfortable, secure grip. The three Shimano Aero X quivertips included (0.75oz, 1.0oz and 1.5oz) ensure accurate bite indication in varying conditions.
The Precision Feeder version is ideal for technical fishing with light to medium feeder baskets in still or slowly flowing water, where precision and finesse make all the difference.
