These hooks were developed in collaboration with Japanese market leader Gamakatsu and designed by our Pole Position product team. The result is a hook that excels in strength, design, and above all—sharpness.
The combination of a very long, straight point with a micro barb, a medium-length shank, and a slightly outward-turned eye makes this hook extremely aggressive in hooking. The Chod-X is the ideal choice for chod or stiff rigs. Its oversized eye easily accommodates stiff or slightly thicker hooklink material, even when threaded multiple times—crucial for this rig style.
