Korda Krimps are designed to make neat, strong, and reliable connections, especially when using stiffer or thicker hooklink materials that are difficult to knot. By crimping instead of tying knots, you can set the length of your hooklink precisely every time – ideal for chod rigs or booms, for example.

The double-barrel construction of these crimps ensures maximum grip and reliability. Used with the Korda Krimp Tool, they create an extremely strong connection every time that looks professional and won't slip. Always make sure you use the correct crimp size for the chosen hooklink material: one that's too large may slip, while one that's too small may damage the material.

The 0.5 mm (XS) crimps are ideal for thinner materials, 0.6 mm (S) for medium stiffness materials such as 25 lb Boom or Hybrid, and 0.7 mm (L) for the thickest hooklinks, such as 35 lb Boom or heavy monofilament. Supplied in a handy box with a sliding lid to prevent loss.
