One Up Shad 5

The Sawamura One Up Shad 5 is a versatile soft bait most commonly used for sea bass and perch, but it is also highly effective for predatory fish such as pike, zander, black bass and pollack. It is often paired with a jighead for linear, diagonal or vertical fishing, but can also be fished weightless when targeting black bass or pike.

The strength of the One Up Shad 5 lies in its ability to adapt to a wide range of retrieve speeds. Thanks to the built-in attractor system (Trump), predatory fish hold onto the bait longer, giving you more time to set the hook effectively. The most popular setup uses a size 4/0 or 5/0 jighead, but this bait also performs excellently on a Texas rig with a size 4/0 wide-gap hook.
