The Spomb Tapered Braided Leaders are unique tapered braided shockleaders specially developed for Spombing and long-distance fishing. Thanks to the gradual tapering from 50lb to 20lb, a smooth transition between leader and main line is created.
The thinner end allows for compact knots that slide more easily through the guides and cause less resistance during casting. Additionally, the smaller knots reduce air resistance, contributing to longer casting distances and a reduced risk of line breakage during casting.
With a length of 10 meters, the leader can be shortened as desired at the thick section. The leaders are supplied in packs of 3 on a spool and are available in red and black.
