How the offer works
Our Deadbait Theme Month runs from October 19 through October 31. During this period, spend at least €50 on Westin products and receive a free 10-gram Pike Float Kit. You're free to choose what you'd like. It could be a new rod or reel, but also lures or tools from the Westin range. Once you reach €50, you'll get the kit included, while stocks last. Please note: the offer is only available at our Experience Center in Apeldoorn, not in the webshop. That's a good reason to stop by. What is the Westin Pike Float Kit?
The Pike Float Kit is a complete, ready-to-use rig for float fishing with deadbait for pike. Take it out of the package, tie it to your main line and you can start fishing right away. The kit consists of a sturdy 10-gram PVC float with a 50-centimeter trace. The trace is made of seven-strand steel wire with a breaking strain of 14 kilos, so a pike's sharp teeth are no problem.
The float has a transparent, water-green camouflage color. This makes it barely visible underwater, while the brightly colored antenna remains easy to see above the water. So you can spot every bite right away. Your line runs through the float via an inner tube, and a metal sleeve on top protects your line from wear. Weighing 10 grams, this version is ideal for fishing at shorter distances and in calmer waters, such as polders, canals, and smaller lakes.
The trace has two extra-strong, razor-sharp hooks in sizes #6 and #8, with semi-barbed points. They have a smaller barb than usual. They hold your fish securely during the fight, but are easier and quicker to unhook after the catch. That's good for you and better for the pike. The camouflage sleeves on the trace make the whole setup extra discreet. The kit is suitable for a whole small fish or pieces of fish.
