The Westin W6 Dropshot 2nd Generation is designed for finesse dropshot techniques that require maximum sensitivity and control. The perfectly balanced Torayca® high-performance carbon blank features an extremely sensitive tip action, registering even the most cautious bites immediately. Ideal for fishing with thin lines and light to medium-heavy terminal tackle for finicky predators such as perch and zander.
Despite its sensitive tip, the rod offers sufficient backbone in the mid and butt sections for reliable hooksets, even at greater distances. The full-carbon Westin 3C handle ensures direct contact and maximum bite detection, allowing you to present your soft bait over the bottom with perfect control.
