The Salty Advance Sea Bass has been developed for long range Sea Bass angling and is part of Shimano’s exclusive JDM series. Offering excellent value for money, this mid-priced range is made on Full Carbon blanks and has a medium fast action which generates excellent casting performance.
For effective Sea Bass fishing it is important that your rods can cast to feeding fish, which will often be at long range, especially when fishing from a shallow beach. This is where the Salty Advance Sea Bass really comes into its own. The medium fast action has enough flex to work with your smaller lures in the 6-8g range, whilst having the power and tip speed to launch 30-40g lures huge distances. Available in 3 models, the 2.74 metre (9’) length 6-32g version offers excellent all-round versatility, whilst the longer 2.90 metre (9’ 6”) versions are real casting machines and come in 6-32g and 8-45g options. To enhance the high quality casting performance of the Salty Advance Sea Bass, lightweight Fuji Stainless Steel Alconite K-type guides, with a SiC tip guide, ensure trouble free line management and minimise problems with high speed casting.
