The BASIX Wide Gape hook is designed as the perfect all-round pattern, ready to use straight out of the packet for a wide variety of rigs without needing to add lots of extra components. Whether you're fishing bottom baits, pop-ups or wafters, this hook provides excellent hooking potential.
The aggressive in-turned eye ensures the hook flips and catches hold in the fish’s mouth, without the need for additional Kickers or shrink tube.
Made from strong ‘X’ gauge wire, it’s suitable for both UK and overseas use. The unobtrusive black nickel finish keeps it discreet, and the durable point is designed to land multiple fish before it needs replacing – always check sharpness before each cast.
The shape is based on the original, highly effective Wide Gape design, which has caught countless big carp over the years.
Available in barbed and barbless versions in sizes 2, 4, 6 and 8. Supplied in packs of 10.
