The BASIX Wide Gape hook is designed as the ideal all-round pattern, ready to use straight out of the packet for a variety of rigs and presentations. Whether you're using bottom baits, wafters, or pop-ups, this hook provides great hooking efficiency. The aggressive in-turned eye helps the hook flip and grab in the fish’s mouth without the need for shrink tube or Kickers.
Made from strong ‘X’ gauge wire, it is suitable for both UK and overseas fishing. The unobtrusive black nickel finish helps keep it subtle on the lakebed. The hook point is long-lasting and can be used to land multiple fish before replacement – always check for sharpness before recasting. The shape is based on the classic Wide Gape pattern, proven to land big carp time and again.
BASIX Wide Gape Hooks are available in barbed and barbless versions in sizes 2, 4, 6, and 8. Supplied in packs of 10.
