The Purist BX1 Barbel is built on a Full Carbon blank, offering the power required to handle hard-fighting fish in strong current and to cast larger weights with ease. A sensitive tip improves bite detection and helps cushion powerful runs and headshakes. The lightest 1.75lb model is ideal for smaller rivers, the 2.25lb version is a great all-rounder, and the Intensity models are perfect for larger rivers like the Waal or Merwede. All rods come with a classic full cork handle, DPS reel seat and Shimano Hardlite guides. A white painted tip improves visibility, and the handle is finished with a durable alloy butt cap.
