These hooks were developed in collaboration with Japanese market leader Gamakatsu and designed by our Pole Position product team. The result is a hook that excels in strength, design, and—most importantly—sharpness.
The Snagster is suitable for nearly all situations and stands out as a distinctive model in the Pole Position hook range. It features a long, slightly in-turned point with a micro barb and a medium-length shank, delivering aggressive hooking performance. The thick wire prevents bending even in the toughest conditions. Its exceptional hook hold makes it ideal for snaggy environments and river fishing. Adding a pre-formed aligner or a piece of shrink tubing can further improve its turning ability.
