These hooks were developed in collaboration with Japanese market leader Gamakatsu and designed by our Pole Position product team. The result is a hook that excels in strength, design, and above all—sharpness.
The Strongbow is a highly popular model that we have refined to perfection. The slightly curved, not overly long shank helps prevent tearing of the carp’s mouth during the fight, while maintaining aggressive hook-ups. The combination of a long, razor-sharp straight point (with micro barb) and subtle curve delivers excellent hooking performance. The thick wire prevents bending even in the toughest situations. While the hook performs well as is, a kicker or aligner can be added if desired.
