The PB Products Rig Rings, measuring 5 millimeters, are specially designed for use with monofilament main lines. First, slide the ring onto the main line, then assemble the Hit and Run clip and tail rubber in the usual way. Instead of placing the leader loop over the clip, tie the mono line directly to the ring. The ring then takes over the function of the loop. Once you slide the ring onto the clip, it creates a perfectly functioning safety system.
