With the resurgence of silverfish fishing on natural waters and commercial fisheries during winter, we decided to develop a range of groundbaits specifically designed for silverfish.
These groundbaits have been created in collaboration with some of the UK’s top silverfish anglers, including Des Shipp, Lee Kerry, Steve Saunders, Mick Vials, Michael Buchwalder, and Will Freeman.
We produced four new groundbaits that can be used straight from the bag or mixed with each other to create a tailored mix for a specific day and venue.
So Natural Black Bream is a dark-coloured groundbait, perfect for bream, skimmers, and hybrids. It can be mixed straight from the bag for feeder use or balled in when pole fishing. It contains a high feed content including breadcrumb, ground maize, molasses meal, and milled tiger nuts for added sweetness.
It binds well, making it an excellent carrier for other baits such as sweetcorn, casters, and chopped worm, and it is a slow-acting dormant mix that stays on the bottom.
