Originally crafted in 2009, the Westin Monsterfly has proven deadly when other lures fail. The redesigned version is stronger, more versatile, and optimized for both spinning and baitcasting setups.
The oversized ABS head with a golf ball pattern pushes large amounts of water, creating turbulence and bubbles that attract predators from a distance. A unique combination of bucktail, wide flash tinsel, and rubber skirts enhances flash and durability while minimizing hook tangling.
The Monsterfly can be fished straight from the pack. Watch out for the hidden #6/0 single hook. Retrieve slowly in shallow water or add a switch weight for deeper, faster presentations. With extra weight you can even jig it along drop-offs. Thanks to the split ring, the hook can be swapped for any shallow-rigged soft lure.
