The Purist BX3 rod series is designed for dedicated barbel anglers seeking refined rods with optimal casting and playing action. Whether you're fishing small rivers with lighter leads or big rivers with heavy feeders and PVA bags, there's a suitable model for every scenario.
Built on a high-quality Full Carbon blank, the rod provides a superb combination of lightness, balance, and hidden power. The butt section is reinforced with 3K carbon weave for strength, while the sensitive tip is fine-tuned to detect subtle bites and cushion powerful runs.
The 1.75lb version is ideal for small rivers, the 2.25lb is a great all-rounder, and the Intensity models are perfect for big rivers like the Waal or IJssel. Each rod features a classic full cork handle with rubber details, a custom DPS reel seat, and Shimano Hardlite guides. The partially white-painted tip improves visibility, and the handle is finished with a stylish alloy (legering) butt cap.
