These hooks were developed in collaboration with Japanese market leader Gamakatsu and designed by our Pole Position product team. The result is a hook that stands out in strength, design, and—above all—sharpness.
The S-Type is a versatile hook suitable for a wide range of situations and is a defining model in the Pole Position hook range. A very long, straight point with a micro barb combined with a medium-length shank delivers aggressive hooking performance. Extending the shank with a ready-made aligner or a small piece of shrink tubing will further enhance the hook's turning efficiency.
