The SLX DC is one of the most popular models in the renowned SLX series. It gives anglers with a smaller budget the opportunity to experience Shimano’s DC technology. This SLX DC model is equipped with the I-DC4 Digital Control braking system, which automatically maximizes casting performance under all conditions, with different lines and casting techniques.

The SLX DC offers four settings for different lines and techniques. It is available in three gear ratios and provides full control over your fishing. Two sizes are available: the versatile 151 and the smaller 71 for casting lighter lures.
The i-DC4 system is seamlessly integrated into the compact frame. The settings are:
Mode 1: maximum casting distance (minimum brake)
Mode 2: for braided line
Mode 3: for fluorocarbon or stiffer lines
Mode 4: maximum control (ideal for skipping)
The built-in microcomputer generates its own power and automatically adjusts the braking force, allowing worry-free casting without backlashes.
Like all SLX models, the SLX DC features an aluminium HAGANE Body as a strong and stable frame. The aluminium S3D spool reduces vibrations during casting and retrieving.
