The use of Band’ums has become inseparable from Method feeder fishing – whether you’re a match angler, carp angler, or an all-round coarse angler simply enjoying a day by the water. The versatility of these hookbaits has proven time and again to be an extremely effective way to catch carp and other quality fish on all kinds of venues.
As the name suggests, Band’ums were originally designed to be used with a bait band – a method still favoured by many anglers. However, the demand for a softer wafter grew, so we developed a Method hookbait that perfectly suits this style of presentation.
Spike’um Wafters have been extensively tested to ensure an effective wafter that is soft enough to easily mount on a spike or bayonet, yet firm enough to stay on during casting or when small fish are nibbling. On top of that, Spike’ums retain their wafter properties for a long time after opening – a consistency we aim for in all our Method hookbaits.
