The W2 Dropshot is a new addition to our popular W2 entry-level rod series by Westin. With a carefully considered design, it is perfectly suited for fishing from the bank, boat, or belly boat, handling light to medium weights with ease. The extremely sensitive tip action allows for the use of ultra-thin lines and light end tackle when targeting wary predators. Despite its finesse, the rod has a powerful backbone in the butt and mid-section, providing enough strength to set the hook effectively, even at distance.
